My understanding of Web 2.0 is broken down
to three important topics. First, Wikipedia is one of the most popular resources
in my generation to use for a resource. With wiki being one of the known web
bases, for the world to collaborate their input, especially when it comes to
anybody and everybody today. So students
use wiki’s as a blog, but it is very different then a blog. Second, Social Bookmarking is an application that
allows you to share your bookmarks with specific people or groups. When you
share the Bookmarking to the group they are able to see what you have posted or
tagged and specifically to whom.

I agree I have used Wikipedia for everything it seems like but I always try to back up my research with another source because of the fact anyone can just put information or edit it on Wikipedia. I also agree that the voice thread is a pretty cool thing. I think it opens up so many doors for people who never thought they would be able to use the internet. I think its an awesome thing.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I hadn't even thought of using VoiceThread on phones. I sort of assumed people would use a PC microphone, but I can see phones/tablets really helping people who thread a lot. Plus it has the added benefit of being voice, which many people prefer. Text can often be misunderstood because it doesn't have tone, but I see VoiceThread as a solid alternative.
